Studio 144 is owned and operated by Mike and Bev McAlister. Mike is an accomplished musician and specializes in Guitar lessons while Beverly McAlister uses her gifts to produce videos that help equip people for today’s word. Together they will help you release YOUR sound and make the most of your music.

This CD has it all, it kicks off with an energetic declaration that 1. He's Alive, then flows into 2. A Fool For You. 3. Almost 23 is a sweet thank you to God written when our second daughter was on her way. 4. I'm Amazed is bright and inspiring 5. Song of The Lamb is straight off the pages of Revelation Chapter 15. 6. More Like You is a soulful prayer. Things get jumpier with Mike's rockabilly version of 7. Jesus Loves Me 8. The Cost is heavy & driving followed by a cool texas blues version of 9.The Old Rugged Cross.. Things slow down with the smooth R&B 10. In Me 11. County Fair comes in to remind us that what you do to the least of your brothers you do unto Him. This CD ends with a favorite of our friends, it's a worshipful heartfelt plea to be where 12.The Elders bow down. 13. And of course a bonus track

When I was a boy my Dad used to love to fall asleep to my guitar playing so in the fall of 2004 I decided to make Dad's Christmas present. I went out in my studio and recorded several short acoustic pieces. Over the next several weeks I let a few trusted friends listen to them who told me I should release them, so here they are. No overdubs and no effects. Just music in it's purest form. You might hear a mistake or two, but that's all part of making music. Think of it as a live recording in studio. So whatever it is, here it is, and I hope it brings you joy. I would like to thank my church families at Freedom Christian Center and The Rock Family Worship Center for their guidance and support. I especially thank you Willi for believing in me when I did'nt believe in myself. I also thank my wife Beverly for standing by me and being my best friend.
